There’s a three-circled pool of varying depths, lounge-style seating in the shallowest segment, a whirlpool spa, and of course plenty of adult beverages nearby. Supplement your elegant meal at Remy or Palo by having cocktails at this upscale travel-themed lounge conveniently located directly between those two fine dining establishments. There’s no need to purchase a separate drink package on a Disney Cruise, as most non-alcoholic drinks are included at no additional cost (a rarity in the cruise industry). This self-service beverage station located near the pool offers unlimited refills of sodas, teas, coffees, and other non-specialty beverages. On sea days, a tremendously-popular brunch service is typically offered.

She was 26 weeks pregnant, and Carnival Cruise Line also requires that guests be no more than 23 weeks pregnant to set sail. To safeguard the woman’s privacy as well as that of her traveling companions, the nature of those health complications has not been revealed. We’re getting ready to set sail on our newest adventure with DCL Magazine! Our team is doing research, preparing layouts and capturing stunning photos of the entire fleet as we work towards launching our next magazine, dedicated to celebrating Disney Cruise Line. In addition to the buffet, the Disney Dream and the Disney Fantasy offer other quick-service style locations – Flo’s Cafe, Eye Scream Treats, Frozone Treats, and Vanellope’s Sweets & Treats. White Caps is your one-stop sea-going shop, stocked with everything from sundries and fragrances, to designer handbags and fine jewelry, to tax- and duty-free premium liquor and imported cigars.
Is Marvel Day at Sea Worth It?
It’s decorated in an Art Nouveau style, and when you walk onto the ship, it looks exactly like you’d expect a ship from the 1930s. The Disney Fantasy is the second newest of the Disney Cruise Line ships and is one of the larger ships in the fleet. It’s definitely a big ship, but it’s so fun to explore but may feel a little overwhelming. The US Coast Guard has released dramatic footage of the moment a pregnant woman was airlifted from a Disney cruise ship after suffering "health complications". “Once on scene, the Coast Guard Jayhawk aircrew deployed their rescue swimmer aboard the cruise ship, who prepared a rescue basket and litter to safely hoist the patient and cruise ship doctor aboard the aircraft,” the Coast Guard said.

The Walt Disney ship Fantasy is the company's fourth (currently newest) liner, with sistership Disney Dream. Each vessel is 40% larger in size than the 2 older Disney ships Magic and Wonder. While its capacity (at double occupancy) is 2500, Fantasy can accommodate up to 4000 passengers at full/max occupancy (all berths). The DRESS CODE is similar to that of the Disney luxury resorts - day casual and evening resort casual (men - jackets (no ties) and pants, women - summer dresses). All Disney Fantasy sailings include one pirate and one semi-formal night.
If it’s your first time on the Disney Fantasy, I highly suggest setting aside some time on the first few days of your cruise to play the Midship Detective Agency activity that’s offered onboard. Not only is it tons of fun, but it’ll also send you all over the ship — a great way to get your bearings and discover things you might have missed otherwise. One of my absolute favorite things to do onboard the Disney Fantasy is to play a round of Goofy Golf. The nine-hole course features plenty of terrible puns, which is right on par (see?) with my terrible sense of humor. It’s completely free to play and you don’t need to reserve a tee time.

Staterooms
(The chandelier alone is a jaw-dropper.) The entire affair takes its cue from a peacock, so there are feathery swirls aplenty -- even in the metalwork gracing the walls -- and a rich Caribbean palette of blue, green and gold. Interior balconies on all sides provide excellent vantage points for the events held there, including performances (vocal and instrumental), character greetings and even a tree-lighting ceremony at Christmas. Exclusively for guests aged 13-17, this special area of Senses offers treatments to teens. A parent or guardian must accompany the teen for the duration of the treatment (solo and combined treatments are offered as an option).
In our opinion, the Northern Italian menu is worth the premium fee you pay for it. When you top off the delicious kids-free meal with gorgeous seascapes, you have a brunch or dinner to remember. It is almost completely free, and options available at any time of the night or day. My favorite interactive dining experience of all Disney themed dining rooms takes place here in Animator's Palate. We won't reveal too much of the secret sauce here, but check out my Animator's Palate tips here - make sure to read tips #43-46. During the meal, the ceiling changes colors, starting with a vibrant blue color to serve as daytime, transforming to a golden red color to mimic the setting sun, finally finishing in a brilliant night sky full of starlight.
Disney Cruise Line Reveals Name and Details for New Ship

Ship size is usually a matter of personal preference depending on how importantly you rank the various pros and cons. Some people bring along pirate apparel and accessories, but others don’t. For those kids who love to dress up, there’s a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on board, which shifts to a Pirates League on Pirate Night.
Kids can patch leaky pipes, “control” water flow to the AquaDuck, and dodge spills from the Ducky Dinghy. If you don’t mind coming out of pocket, you can add on specialty items such as beer, wine, canned soft drinks, deluxe coffees, juices, and pre-packaged snacks such as candies. A whimsical atmosphere and a custom private-label Taittinger Champagne are the hallmarks of this lush lounge. Polish of a pint or two at this Irish pub, featuring live sport on-screen and some of the best American, Irish, and international beer on tap.

There are 2 adults-only specialty restaurants - "Remy" (named after the "Ratatouille" movie star, French cuisine) and "Palo" (Italian cuisine) as alternative dining options. The line's Rotational Dining system allows you to rotate to each of the three main restaurants each night while your servers follow you. The Animator's Palate has screens showing animated Disney characters and themes from "Finding Nemo" movie. The Enchanted Garden is a Versailles-inspired room, featuring lighting effects, transforming day into night. The Royal Palace is princesses-themed with numerous portraits of "Cinderella" and the "Sleeping Beauty" movie characters (even the bread baskets are shaped as the Cinderella's coach). The food quality is very good, the service staff is amicable and timely.
Families also like to participate in a fish extender exchange, where you’ll be able to trade little gifts with other cruisers.
The adult area, which is family-friendly during the days, is called Europa. Clubs and bars include the Tube (themed for the London underground), O’Gill’s Pub (the Irish pub), Ooh La La (champagne bar), and the Skyline Lounge. There’s a whole schedule of fun shows and game shows that take place in the Tube – perfect if your kids are enjoying the kids clubs.
Inside there are tons of kid-friendly spaces and activities, and it’s all included in the cost of your Disney cruise! This amazing kids club is one of the reasons we consider Disney to be the best cruise line for children. A shallow (approximately 1-foot deep) family friendly pool that’s far removed from the raucousness of the Donald’s and Mickey’s pools. This is the closest thing the Disney Fantasy has to a “quiet pool” that’s still open to all ages; but there’s still a small water fountain feature in the middle that kids love to splash in.
Those traveling with kids will love the five separate kids clubs – separated by age. Options include a nursery, the Oceaneer Club, the Oceaneer Lab, Edge, and Vibe. While kids can go to the clubs throughout the day, there are also specific schedules of activities. My kids are old enough now that they can check themselves in and out of the clubs, so they really enjoy the freedom.
Complimentary non-alcoholic beverages, showers, lockers, sandals, and robes round out the offerings. While prices are higher than at spas on land, many repeat cruisers feel that Senses Spa is worth the added expense. Much of Deck 5 on the Disney Fantasy is dedicated to spaces especially designed for younger passengers (thanks in part to space saved by not having casinos onboard the ship).
